The MegaHouse Corporation (a member of the Bandai-Namco Group, CEO Akihiro Sato / Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) will begin affixing authenticity verification stickers to a portion of its high-target hobby and figure products from September of 2025. The purpose is to differentiate our products from counterfeits that violate intellectual property rights.
This initiative stems from the discovery of counterfeit versions of our hobby and figure products, both in Japan and overseas. These counterfeit items not only lack in quality but also risk undermining the integrity of the characters’ worlds. We believe that these counterfeits may also cause harm to our customers in terms of damaging our brand value.
MegaHouse is cooperating with Bandai and other parties to implement anti-counterfeit measures, so as to create an environment where counterfeit products are neither produced nor sold. Authenticity verification stickers on the packaging of products sold in Japan and overseas will clearly indicate that products are genuine (authentic), allowing MegaHouse fans to purchase them with confidence.

What is Illumigram®?

This allows for easy authenticity checks: if the hidden text appears under the light, the item is genuine; if not, it is counterfeit.
